hireEZ pricing: $494 Solo, quotes and trial terms

hireEZ Solo starts at $494 a month. Budget the quote, the software you keep and the work your team still performs before choosing a plan.

Metix AI publishes this guide and sells recruiting software. Facts checked October 14, 2026. Costs are calculations from published offers; no comparative hiring performance was tested.

What does hireEZ cost now?

hireEZ pricing starts at $494 a month for an individual recruiter, with a seven-day free trial. Enterprise pricing requires a quote. hireEZ says seats remain part of that price, but the quote is configured around the recruiting tools it would replace. These are the current statements on hireEZ's official pricing page, checked October 14, 2026.

This guide is for a solo recruiter or hiring lead comparing an actual purchase. It separates the published starting price from a team quote and adds the costs that remain with your company. Metix AI publishes the guide and sells recruiting software; the calculations are not results from testing either product.

Use the current offer when comparing hireEZ prices. Some older guides still describe $169-$199 seats, a 14-day gated trial or no public price. Those statements do not match the current official Solo offer. Historical deal medians and guessed Team rates are not a current quote for your users or workflow.

The Enterprise verification is the vendor's described evaluation process. It does not establish a standard free trial, a refundable purchase or a guaranteed saving. Ask which costs apply during that period and what happens if the project does not proceed.

How much is a year of hireEZ Solo?

Twelve charges at the published $494 monthly starting price total $5,928. That is a budgeting scenario, not a published annual Solo contract or a team quote. The public page does not establish that you can cancel after any number of monthly charges.

3$1,482$297$1,068
6$2,964$594$1,068
12$5,928$1,188$1,068

Metix's current pricing lists Starter at $99 monthly or $1,068 billed yearly. The annual column shows the upfront amount even if you use it for fewer months. These offers buy different packages. A lower subscription charge alone does not establish a lower cost for your recruiting workflow.

Do not multiply the Solo price by five recruiters to invent an Enterprise price. A team quote may include different capacity, modules, terms and services. It must come from hireEZ.

Which work does the quote cover?

hireEZ describes a platform above your ATS, covering sourcing, CRM, outreach, screening, scheduling and analytics. Its current EZ Agent guide describes role research, candidate ranking, outreach, voice or chat screening and interview coordination. Recruiters brief the Agent, review its options and make decisions.

hireEZ also describes MCP in controlled release, allowing approved AI assistants to work under a user's permissions. Confirm availability, package eligibility and which actions it permits. Metix has readable published content, but no public people-search API or MCP; it will not meet that interface requirement today.

The public Agent guide does not say which of those functions your $494 Solo purchase includes. Ask for an itemized answer on the plan you are considering, rather than assuming the entry plan includes every workflow in a product demo.

Questions to attach to a Solo purchase or Enterprise quote
Work you needAsk the supplierRecord in your budget
Source and reach candidatesWhich sources, contact lookups, exports, sending accounts and channels are included?Monthly allowances and any extra usage price
Work with your ATSDoes this exact plan support your ATS, required fields and data flow?Implementation, retained software and migration costs
Screen and scheduleAre EZ Agent, voice/chat screens and panel scheduling included or separately purchased?Module charges and the tasks your people still perform
Keep control of the purchaseWhat is committed upfront, when can you cancel, and how do usage and renewal prices change?Actual cash in your chosen period and overlapping contracts

Contact limits, extra-credit rates, cancellation notice, setup fees and Solo module inclusions are not fully established by the public pricing page. Leave them unknown until the order form or supplier confirms them. A source that quotes a historical contract median cannot answer those questions for your purchase.

Budget the work that remains after purchase

A recruiting subscription is one line in the budget. Include the software you keep, usage extras, migration and old contracts you cannot cancel. Then add the time spent defining the role, reviewing candidates, approving outreach and handling exceptions.

Use subscription cash + confirmed extras + retained tools + contract overlap + implementation + taxes for direct cash. Add internal hours × your loaded hourly cost to calculate an economic total. Keep those two outputs separate when discussing the budget with finance.

Download the hireEZ purchase cost worksheet. Open it in a spreadsheet application and fill one column for the hireEZ offer and the other for the Metix plan you would use. Unknown inputs are blank, and the total stays "Unknown" until you enter every required number. Enter zero only when it is a confirmed zero cost.

  1. Choose the same evaluation period for both columns. Enter the cash your contract requires in that period, including any upfront payment.
  2. Fill each direct-cash input. Ask for allowance and overage prices using your expected contact, export and screening workload. A missing reply stays blank.
  3. Measure review, approval, exception and record-management time in the trial. Enter total hours for the period and one consistent loaded hourly cost.
  4. Read direct cash and economic total separately. Change the hiring workload or contract end date and check whether your decision still holds.

At the two advertised monthly entry prices, the software difference is $395 per month. At an illustrative $50 loaded hourly cost, 7.9 hours of work per month also costs $395. A higher-priced package could justify that difference if it actually removes enough of your work or covers a necessary function. We have not measured those hours for either vendor; replace the example rate with your own.

For Enterprise, do not subtract an annual LinkedIn or outreach-tool bill just because the new product has a similar function. Confirm that the required work can move, that the people using it agree, and that the old contract can actually end. A six-month overlap is a cost even if you stop logging in.

When should you compare Metix?

Compare Metix if you have an open role and want to evaluate a workflow from sourcing through approved outreach, reply handling and interview booking. Starter includes one AI Agent and 5,000 monthly Credits. Your team writes the brief, reviews candidates, approves outreach and conducts the interviews. The subscription does not include a Metix employee reviewing the shortlist.

Outside an active Agent workflow, unlocking one contact costs 10 Credits, a Deep Search list costs 100, and activating an Agent above your plan allowance costs 3,000. Work inside an active Agent workflow uses 0 Credits. Credits are product usage units; they are not a guaranteed number of candidates or interviews.

hireEZ may be the better procurement path when you need verified ATS rediscovery and a broader platform consolidation project. Test those specific requirements with its team. Metix is not an ATS replacement, and separately quoted Metix Delivery is a different purchase from a self-serve subscription.

The Metix AI vs hireEZ comparison covers the wider workflow decision. The recruiting software price survey is useful if you are comparing more than these two products.

Use one role to make the next decision

Give each product the same role requirements and exclusions. Use the first seven days as a common evaluation period if the vendor's trial allows the work you need. Metix's trial lasts 14 days and includes one Agent and 500 Credits, without a credit card; hireEZ advertises seven days for Solo. Confirm the included modules before making a comparison.

  1. Write must-have evidence, compensation and location into a real role brief. Name the person who approves candidates and messages.
  2. Record candidate fit, interested replies, confirmed interview bookings and your team's operating hours separately. Avoid contacting the same person through both tests.
  3. Put the confirmed offer and observed work into the worksheet. Use the vendor evaluation scorecard to decide whether to continue.

A trial is useful even if the decision is to keep your existing tool. Continue only when the plan includes the work you need and your team can operate it at the measured cost.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How much does hireEZ cost in 2026?

The current official page lists Solo starting at $494 per month with a seven-day free trial. Enterprise requires a quote configured around seats and the recruiting stack it would replace. Twelve charges at the Solo entry price total $5,928; that calculation is not a published annual contract or a team quote.

Does hireEZ publish a price per recruiter for Enterprise?

It does not publish a universal Enterprise seat rate. Seats remain part of the model, but the offer also depends on the replaced stack and required workflow. Ask for included users, modules, allowances, integration, billing commitment and renewal terms. Do not multiply the Solo price into a team quote.

What should I check during the hireEZ trial?

Confirm which sources, contacts, exports, outreach, Agent, screening and scheduling functions your exact offer includes. Run the same role requirements, record candidate fit and team hours, and get unknown costs in writing. The seven-day Solo trial does not establish the scope of an Enterprise purchase.

Is Metix cheaper than hireEZ?

Metix Starter has a lower listed subscription price: $99 monthly or $1,068 annual upfront. The packages and billing scope differ. Add actual usage, retained software, overlapping contracts and operator hours before comparing total cost. Neither the price difference nor the worksheet proves better recruiting results.
