This page is the stable counting rule for Metix AI series reports. It does not publish a new headcount.
Exclusive homepage denominator
Each company figure is a count on that company's own exclusive homepage record. A parent entity, an acquired brand, and a second website are not added into the same cell. Five-name packs add five records. They do not roll those records up into one employer.
Senior inclusion
The seat is the spelled-out title. Senior on that same spelled-out title is included in the family. A nearby title that is not the spelled-out seat stays outside the count.
Open jobs only when measured
An employed count is not an open-job count. An open-job cell is published only after that cell was measured for the named company, title, and as-of date. An unmeasured open-job cell stays empty. A measured zero stays zero. This page does not estimate open jobs from employed people. Example: the Data Engineer employed-versus-open page cites Netflix 5, Airbnb 1, and measured zeros for Uber, Databricks, and Snowflake as of 2026-09-22 PT.
