## Key Responsibilities

- Support the deployment, testing, and engineering adaptation of causal world models and related algorithms across different robotic platforms.
- Handle the assembly, disassembly, commissioning, maintenance, and routine fault diagnosis of robot hardware, reducing the impact of equipment issues on R&D progress.
- Analyze coupled issues across mechanical structures, sensors, actuators, and control systems, and work with relevant teams to identify hardware-software integration faults.
- Co-design test plans with algorithm and software teams, translating real-world robot issues into clear and reproducible engineering feedback.
- Maintain engineering records covering robot equipment, critical components, fault symptoms, and repair processes, and progressively build reusable debugging methods.
- Evaluate the structural characteristics and interface differences of different robot platforms and provide engineering recommendations for cross-platform adaptation.
- Participate in technical discussions and joint adaptation work with robot-platform or critical-component vendors as the business progresses.

## Key Qualifications

- A sound understanding of the fundamental mechanical architecture of robotic systems and how structural design affects motion, payload, accuracy, and reliability.
- Experience in integrated debugging of robotic hardware and software systems across mechanical, electrical, sensing, actuation, and software layers.
- Strong hands-on capability and the ability to independently assemble, commission, maintain, and troubleshoot robot platforms.
- The ability to communicate clearly with algorithm, software, and external hardware partners and break complex problems into verifiable engineering tasks.
- The initiative to establish working methods and drive issues to closure in an uncertain early-stage R&D environment.

## Preferred Qualifications

- Engineering experience with robotic arms, mobile robots, dexterous manipulation, or other embodied-intelligence platforms.
- Experience in robot-platform integration, laboratory equipment maintenance, prototype development, or joint projects with robot-platform manufacturers.
- Familiarity with common reliability and maintainability issues from experimental validation through real-world deployment.
- The ability to read English technical documentation and collaborate with technical teams across locations.

## Why This Role

- Contribute directly to bringing causal world models from research into real robotic systems.
- Solve concrete, verifiable engineering problems across multiple robotic platforms.
- Work closely with causal AI, world-model, and robotics teams, connecting algorithms, robot hardware, and the physical environment.
- Help build the company's robotics systems integration and deployment capabilities in China.
