# Content Marketing Intern

Canonical: https://metix.ai/careers/content-marketing-intern

Internship, San Francisco preferred / Remote considered. Write English social content, join overseas communities, and help turn AI recruiting ideas into real audience learning.
Translated from Chinese
## About the role

- This is not a miscellaneous internship. You will directly work on real channels, and the content you publish will represent the company.
- If you have a feel for English writing, real curiosity about AI, and want to learn how early AI company GTM actually works, this role is worth taking seriously.

## What you'll do

- Write English content: publish 2 to 3 English social posts per week across X and LinkedIn, covering AI recruiting, the future of work, HR Tech, and related topics for US HR, TA, and founders.
- Join overseas communities: participate in Reddit communities such as r/recruiting, r/recruitinghell, and r/SaaS, plus HR and People Ops Slack communities. Identify what people are really discussing and bring topics back.
- Support content topic selection and analysis: track performance, join weekly reviews, and explain why something worked or why nobody cared.
- Work with the full-time team to organize customer stories and use cases, and participate in the full content marketing loop.

## Who you are

- English writing is a real strength. Ideally, send us an account, blog, Substack, or coursework we can read. This is the most important requirement.
- Current undergraduate or graduate student. Major does not matter. Able to commit at least 4 days per week.
- Genuinely curious about AI and the future of work, and able to understand what overseas tech circles are discussing.
- Fast, experimental, and able to tolerate the loneliness of cold-start content.

## Bonus points

- You have operated an X, LinkedIn, Substack, or independent blog with real readers.
- Hands-on experience with SEO, Reddit communities, or Slack communities.
- Overseas study or living experience, with English expression closer to native.
- You use Claude, Notion, or AIGC tools, and your writing still does not feel AI-generated.

## This may not be for you if

- You need a detailed brief before writing and cannot write without templates.
- You treat English writing as Chinese-to-English translation.
- You expect an internship to be resume padding.
- You think content marketing is scheduling posts and counting likes.

## What to include when applying

- Links to English content you have written: accounts, blogs, coursework, anything readable.
- One recent English content piece that impressed you and why it worked, in no more than three sentences. Chinese or English is fine.
