# Loxo pricing: Core starts at $149; Professional needs a quote

Canonical: https://metix.ai/blog/loxo-pricing

Price the plan you need, keep unanswered fees visible and add Boost allowances only for the seats that carry them.

Metix AI editorial team

The short version

The checked Core offer starts at $149 per user/month, annual and prepaid, with a new-customer limited-time label. Professional requires a quote. Use the independent workbook to separate a subscription reference floor, selected-seat credit pooling and a complete set of user-supplied budget inputs.

Decision guide

## Which parts of your budget are still unanswered?

1. ### Record the offer

Keep plan, paid seats, price basis, term and source together.

2. ### Expose the gaps

Leave unquoted subscription, Boost, migration and overlap costs unknown.

3. ### Confirm the account

Check the first invoice, renewal and actual enabled workflow before committing.

The complete worked quote is fictional. Public starting rates are not renewal guarantees; allowance arithmetic does not establish workload capacity or a hiring result.

For employer recruiting leaders and recruitment-firm operators evaluating Loxo. Official pages and reference articles checked October 29, 2026. Metix publishes this guide and sells recruiting software. Dollar examples use USD as a working assumption; confirm invoice currency and tax in your written offer.

## What Loxo currently publishes

Loxo Core starts at $149 per user per month, billed annually and paid up front. The current card labels it a limited-time new-customer offer. Professional asks you to book a demo for team pricing; Enterprise uses a custom annual agreement. We recorded those terms from the [official pricing page](https://www.loxo.co/pricing) at our October 29 check.

For three Core seats, the displayed starting rate gives $447 a month as an arithmetic equivalent and $5,364 for twelve months. The monthly equivalent does not create a monthly payment option. It also leaves renewal, eligibility, taxes, migration scope and other costs to confirm. Treat it as the subscription reference floor for the stated assumptions rather than a complete invoice.

**Official pricing-page snapshot, October 29, 2026**

| Plan | Published price basis | What to establish before buying |
| - | - | - |
| Core | From $149/user/month, annual and prepaid; limited-time new-customer label. | Whether the offer applies, full term and renewal. Includes ATS/CRM and AI search; the Source/agent package is described under Professional. |
| Professional | Book a demo for team pricing, annual and prepaid. | Current seat price, Source and agent access, capacity and Boost charges. |
| Enterprise | Custom annual agreement. | Required governance and security scope, services and full agreement price. |

You may find a $199 Professional figure or an older Free/Basic screenshot in search results. Our current pricing-page check does not establish either as a current offer for your account. Keep the source date beside the number you are using. Before committing, replace a reference price with the written offer for your plan and term. This guide does not infer when Loxo changed its offers from dates on third-party articles.

## Download a workbook that leaves missing costs visible

[Download the complete quote-gap kit (ZIP)](https://metix.ai/assets/resources/loxo-budget-kit.zip). It contains an [editable CSV template](https://metix.ai/assets/resources/loxo-budget-template.csv), [four worked cases](https://metix.ai/assets/resources/loxo-budget-examples.csv), [expected output](https://metix.ai/assets/resources/loxo-budget-expected.csv), [method and field instructions](https://metix.ai/assets/resources/loxo-budget-method.md) and an optional [local Python 3 calculator](https://metix.ai/assets/resources/loxo-budget.py). You can use the files without a Metix account.

Start with your paid seat count and mark the price basis: `public_starting`, `user_quote`, `illustrative` or `unknown`. Replace the bracketed cells in the template. Enter zero only when you have established that a cost does not apply; leave an unanswered cost blank. The calculator keeps the resulting total unknown and lists what remains to collect, even when the subscription subtotal is available.

The four cases below are independent editorial exercises. No row is a customer bill. In the last case, the $215 seat rate, $25 monthly total Boost fee, $1,000 migration, $1,200 overlapping tools and 16 hours at $50 are invented inputs. They demonstrate the calculation and must not be presented as a Loxo quote.

**Known components and unresolved totals in the downloadable examples**

| Case | Annual subscription | Monthly Pro pool | First-year cash / cash plus effort |
| - | - | - | - |
| Three Core seats at the public starting rate | $5,364 reference floor | Not modeled | Unknown / unknown; migration, overlap and effort unanswered |
| Three Pro seats, one 2× Boost; no quote | Unknown | 10,000 credits | Unknown / unknown; capacity arithmetic does not establish a bill |
| Three Pro seats, one 2× and one 5× Boost; no quote | Unknown | 20,000 credits | Unknown / unknown |
| Three Pro seats, invented complete inputs | $7,740 hypothetical | 10,000 credits | $10,240 / $11,040 hypothetical |

To reproduce the examples, put the calculator and worked CSV in one directory, open a terminal there and run:

```
python3 loxo-budget.py loxo-budget-examples.csv
```

Compare the result with the expected CSV. The script reads local files and makes no network requests. It rejects malformed rows, invalid price bases, duplicate case IDs, negative or non-finite numbers and overlapping Boost-seat counts. It does not authenticate a quote, buy a plan or test product access. A successful run means that the file was processed. Read `missing_inputs` before using a result as an approved budget. Cash may be calculable while internal effort is still unknown; retain that distinction rather than forcing every blank to zero.

## Separate the annual commitment from the cost of switching

The calculator multiplies a monthly seat rate by paid seats and twelve months. It then adds the annual total Boost fee, a one-time migration amount and a year of parallel-tool spending. Internal hours multiplied by your own hourly cost are shown separately before an optional combined budget. This keeps an employee's time from looking like a charge on Loxo's invoice.

For the invented complete case, the arithmetic is 3 × $215 × 12 = $7,740 in seat charges, plus $25 × 12 = $300 for Boosts. Adding $1,000 migration and $1,200 parallel tools gives $10,240 external cash. Sixteen internal hours at $50 add $800 of modeled effort, giving $11,040. Those inputs illustrate a budget method; they measure no savings, return on investment or hiring result.

Migration deserves its own question. Loxo describes free standard Core migration for teams of three or more seats, with guided self-service below that. Complex or custom migrations, including Professional and Enterprise, are scoped as fixed packages before signing. A three-seat count alone does not establish that your particular migration is included. Record the data, attachments, history, cleanup, owners and acceptance criteria in scope before entering a fee or zero in the sheet.

Keep existing ATS, sourcing or outreach costs in the budget until you know when their obligations end. A replacement product's feature list cannot cancel an existing contract. Ask which records and workflows you will move, which tools remain, and whether a period of parallel operation is necessary. The [ATS pricing workbook](https://metix.ai/blog/ats-pricing-comparison) covers broader system-of-record procurement; the [pricing-model guide](https://metix.ai/blog/per-candidate-vs-per-seat-pricing) helps compare licenses and usage units across products.

Confirm which recruiter, manager, administrator or service users need paid seats instead of treating everyone who views a record as a paid user by assumption. Before approval, obtain the first payment amount and date, committed seat count, treatment of added or removed seats, renewal price and notice terms, taxes and currency. The worksheet assumes a twelve-month comparison and does not infer proration, refunds, cancellation rights or an add-on invoice schedule. A known annual amount and a known amount due today are separate pieces of information. First-year cash in this file covers the listed inputs only; add any other contractual charges to your complete budget rather than assuming they are included.

## Calculate Boosts on selected seats, then pool the credits

The current Professional page lists 2,500 credits per seat each month. A 2× Boost gives a selected seat 5,000 total; a 5× Boost gives it 12,500 total. Loxo says credits pool across the team and that the account team sizes Boost pricing. Add the extra allowance for each boosted seat to the shared pool. Applying the largest multiplier to every user would overstate the allowance you modeled.

With three Professional seats and one 2× Boost, the monthly pool is 5,000 + 2,500 + 2,500 = 10,000. With one 2× seat, one 5× seat and one unchanged seat, it is 5,000 + 12,500 + 2,500 = 20,000. These totals describe an allowance; the Professional subscription and Boost fees remain unknown until quoted.

The script calculates that monthly pool without turning it into a number of searches, candidates or hires. Loxo's page describes its capacity figures as figurative and says actual usage can vary. Ask for the action meter, how the work you expect to run is charged, and what happens with failed or retried work. Observe the work in the plan you are evaluating rather than deriving a guarantee from the pool alone.

The FAQ describes a full refresh each monthly cycle. Confirm expiry and carryover terms in writing; this guide does not treat a year's monthly allowances as a bank of credits available on day one. Core's Professional-style pool is not modeled in the worksheet, and that label is not a claim about every possible Core action.

## Check the trial and the exact account's available agents

The current page advertises a seven-day trial of Professional without a credit card. A trial lets you inspect a defined period of access; it does not establish a perpetual free entitlement or the terms of your paid agreement. Check what happens to your data and access at its end, and keep any current invitation or offer beside your quote.

Ask which agents you can use in your account. Loxo's launch letter describes eligible plans and rolling availability, with Outreach & Pursuit coming soon. The current pricing page describes that workforce while marking Scheduling and Deduplication coming soon. Have the vendor demonstrate the steps you intend to use and identify any separate rollout conditions; the public pages alone leave account-level availability unresolved.

Bring a concrete request to the demo: three paid Professional users, one 2× Boost and your described migration scope. Ask for the subscription commitment, total Boost fee, migration package, first invoice and renewal basis as separate lines, plus a list of the agents enabled for that exact account. Replace the seat count and workload with your own needs. Return each answer to its field in the workbook; leave a missing answer open.

Use a role and records you are authorized to test. Check the input, the resulting evidence, the human approval point and what actually reaches your record system. This article records public documentation, not a hands-on performance test of Loxo. Vendor claims about speed, database quality and return on investment are not measurements made by Metix.

## Choose the work you need before comparing the price

Loxo is worth evaluating when you need the ATS/CRM record system and want your recruiting team to operate sourcing, client or candidate workflows within that platform. Its public plans also describe AI search and a Professional agent workforce; evaluate the actual enabled scope rather than assuming it is a manual-only desk. Price the package that includes your record-system and execution requirements. A narrower product does not replace the ATS/CRM responsibilities simply because both products automate part of recruiting.

Metix fits a different purchasing task: a company has an approved vacancy and can run interviews, but wants sourcing, outreach, screening and booking carried forward while keeping its existing record system. In the [published Metix workflow](https://metix.ai/features/ai-recruiter), the employer defines the bar, inspects supporting evidence and uncertainty, approves outreach, interviews and makes the hiring decision. Metix is not an ATS or a recruiter-operated CRM replacement.

If that execution gap describes your role, create the real opening from your [approved hiring brief](https://metix.ai/blog/hiring-brief-template), review the structured requirements and candidate evidence, then approve outreach before it sends. The worksheet is independent preparation, with no claim that either platform imports it or integrates with the other. On Metix self-serve plans, no staff member reviews the shortlist for you; [staff-run Delivery is separately quoted](https://book.metix.ai/?campaign=loxo-pricing&source=site&cta=delivery).

Current official cards govern the published-price summary. The reference articles helped identify conflicting numbers and questions; their competitor rankings, discount estimates, savings arguments and unrelated analogies are not adopted. Metix designed the cases and calculator independently. Recheck current official terms and get a written offer before purchasing, especially if you read this after the stated check date.

### How much does Loxo cost?

At our October 29, 2026 check, Core starts at $149 per user/month billed annually and paid up front, with a limited-time new-customer label. Professional team pricing requires a demo and Enterprise a custom annual agreement. Confirm currency, eligibility, taxes, renewal and scope in your written offer.

### Is Loxo Professional currently $199 per user?

The current official pricing card asks buyers to book a demo for team pricing. A $199 figure in a reference article does not establish the current rate for your account. The worksheet leaves Professional subscription costs unknown until you supply a sourced quote.

### Is there a free Loxo plan or trial?

The checked pricing page advertises a seven-day trial of full Professional access without a credit card. That does not establish an ongoing free entitlement. Confirm current access, data and paid-offer terms rather than relying on older Free/Basic screenshots.

### How many credits do three Professional seats with one 2× Boost provide?

Using the checked allowances, one boosted seat has 5,000 credits and two unboosted seats have 2,500 each, totaling 10,000 credits per month in the shared pool. The Boost fee and Professional subscription rate still require a quote. This allowance does not promise searches, candidates or hires.

### Does the calculator produce a complete Loxo quote?

No. It calculates supplied twelve-month inputs and lists missing ones. Blank costs remain unknown; public starting-price outputs are reference floors and the illustrative case uses invented fees. The tool does not authenticate quotes, test product availability, calculate taxes or buy anything.

### Does Metix replace Loxo as an ATS or CRM?

Metix is not an ATS or recruiter-operated CRM replacement. It fits an approved employer role needing sourcing through outreach, screening and booking while the employer reviews evidence, approves outreach, interviews and decides. Self-serve has no staff shortlist review; staff-run Delivery is separately quoted.
