# Loxo budget and quote-gap worksheet

An independent editorial worksheet, checked2026-10-29. No account required. It reads a local CSV and performs no network request, purchase, product import or vendor quote validation. Work in a private approved location if entering a non-public commercial quote. USD is the worksheet's working currency assumption; the checked card displays a dollar sign, so confirm invoice currency in the written offer. Keep taxes, local currency and contract-specific charges in your own budget; this file does not calculate them.

## Files and first use

Run `python3 loxo-budget.py loxo-budget-examples.csv` with Python3. The result should exactly match loxo-budget-expected.csv. Then copy loxo-budget-template.csv and replace all bracketed cells. Run the script on your edited copy. Do not upload a vendor quote or candidate data anywhere to use this kit. Source references are local notes and are not fetched.

Each row is a separate twelve-month scenario. Plan must be Core or Professional; seats is a positive paid-user count. There are no automatic defaults for missing subscription rates, migration, overlap tools or labor. Leave an unknown number blank. Enter0 only for a cost you have established does not apply. The script intentionally reports unknown totals while a required component is blank. Negative values, invalid basis, duplicate scenario IDs, extra/missing columns and overlapping Boost-seat counts are rejected before output.

## Price basis

- public_starting: the captured Core starting rate of149 per user/month, annual commitment paid up front. It is a new-customer limited-time offer on the checked page. Its twelve-month arithmetic is a reference floor, not a complete quote, eligibility promise, tax-inclusive invoice or renewal rate. The calculator will not accept public_starting for Professional.
- unknown: leave the subscription rate blank until the vendor gives you a written current quote. Professional is demo-priced on the checked current page; do not fill199 from an old reference article.
- user_quote: enter the actual quoted rate and a source reference. The script cannot authenticate it, check term/eligibility, or determine whether it includes all taxes, packages and other charges.
- illustrative: a hypothetical teaching example. The215 seat rate,25 monthly total Boost fee,1000 migration,1200 parallel-tools budget and16 hours at50 are invented inputs, not Loxo prices or an actual customer quote. Do not use them as an offer.

## Formulas and limits

annual_base = paid seats × monthly seat rate ×12.
annual_boost = total monthly Boost fee across the selected seats ×12.
first_year_cash = annual_base + annual_boost + one-time migration cash + annual parallel-tool cash.
internal_effort = internal hours × hourly cost.
first_year_with_effort = first_year_cash + internal_effort.

The last two values are a modeled budget, not a vendor invoice or ROI. Labor is separated from external cash; neither a time saving nor a placement is assumed. The twelve-month model does not infer seat proration, cancellation refunds, renewal changes, monthly billing, tax, FX or payment timing for quoted add-ons. Confirm those in the written agreement. Do not subtract a tool merely because a vendor says it replaces a stack: retain overlap cash until its termination is established.

## Credit-pool arithmetic

For Professional, the checked page lists2500 credits per seat per month. A2x Boost makes one selected seat5000 total, adding2500 above that seat's base. A5x Boost makes one selected seat12500 total, adding10000. No seat may be counted in both categories.

monthly_pool = seats×2500 + boost2_seats×2500 + boost5_seats×10000.

Three seats with one2x Boost total10000 monthly credits. Three seats with one2x, one5x and one unchanged seat total20000. Boost fee is quote-required if selected. A known credit pool is not a known subscription bill. Core's agent pool is not modeled; this is not a declaration that every possible Core action has zero credits. No annual roll-up implies carryover. Refresh, expiry, charges per action and real workload capacity must be confirmed; the official page itself calls its capacity figures figurative. Credits are not candidates, hires or guaranteed searches.

## Official boundaries checked

Current pricing: https://www.loxo.co/pricing . Core includes ATS/CRM and AI search; Professional adds the Source/agent offering with current team pricing by demo. Core standard migration is described as free at3+ seats with guided self-serve below; complex/custom and Professional/Enterprise migrations are scoped separately. The file leaves migration blank until the actual scope is known. The seven-day Professional trial is described as no-card; a trial is not a perpetual free entitlement.

The launch announcement describes rolling availability and Outreach & Pursuit as coming soon, while the current pricing page describes that workforce and marks Scheduling and Deduplication coming soon. Confirm availability in the exact plan/account; the worksheet does not test product access or assert that all agents are live.

This kit does not claim Metix is an ATS/CRM replacement, that it imports this file, or that either product produces a hiring outcome. Keep the vendor agreement and your own records as the authority.
